Foreign Affairs piece on Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam from 2012

This may be two years old, but this is the first time I've seen this article on the Renaissance Dam written by Foreign Affairs in May/June 2012. The article talks about the dam, but in the context of the Ethiopian government, then led by Late PM Meles, vision of development - the 5 year plan called the Goals and Transformation Plan (GTP). Information is presented on aspects of Ethiopia's changes from textiles to sugar to the the dam. The article also draws the connection between Ethiopia's goals and the UN's Millennium Development Goals.
